Almmira Dirain, finished Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Filipino, is a daughter of a single mom, working as a laundrywoman. During her speech, she thanked her mother for supporting her all throughout her college education. For tirelessly working very hard just to send her to school despite being a scholar.
According to Dirain, her mother didn’t have nice clothes to wear in her graduation but it didn’t matter to her since her presence is the most important thing that day. As expected, her mother proudly hung the medals, with so much pride and admiration. Her story is a real inspiration that should be precedent by the future generations.
Knowledge acquire through education is something that your parents can give you and can never be taken away from you. Finishing college is a step closer into a brighter future.
