An overseas Filipino worker’s (OFW) 10-year-old son is currently fighting for his life in a hospital in the Philippines due to a tumor found in his brain.
The GulfNews reported the father of Randolph Palomer has appealed for financial assistance for his son’s chemotherapy and radiation, which cost over Dh55,000 (PhP690,000).
Rodolfo is a porter in the Dubai airport and earns a salary of Dh3,000 (PhP38,000). His wife has no work.
Randolph has a six-centimeter tumor located in the center of his brain. The size and location of the tumor prevented the doctors from operating on him.
Randolph was a fourth-grade student at the United International Private School in Dubai before he went to Manila with his mother, who also had to undergo an operation for her own medical condition.
The Samaritans Ministry of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai is currently helping raise funds for Randolph’s treatment. Those who wish to help Randolph may get in touch with them.
