After staying in Saudi jail for 8 long years, Filipino overseas worker Jonard Langamin is back home safe and sound.
The 32-year old OFW arrived last Wednesday through the help of Suan Ople, an OFW advocate. He was greeted by his parents, Editha and Clemente, Office of the Vice President Representative and the OFW advocate. The plane landed at exactly 9:45am at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Last 2008, the Saudi Authorities sentenced Jonard Langamin to murder of another Filipino Robertson Mendoza. He was supposed to be beheaded last 2012 but the victim’s family signed an affidavit of forgiveness (tanazul). He was provided with all the help he needs to come back home to his family.

In a media interview, Langamin sought forgiveness for the crime he had committed especially to the family of the victim. He explained that his anger gotten his entire being and committed the hideous crime. He is also willing to meet the father of Mendoza by Thursday afternoon.
