Juan Samujo Briza, 32 years old, is currently working as electrician and aircon technician in Dubai. He is working abroad for three years. He is happy with what he is doing. His story seems like an ordinary story of an OFW working to sustain the financial needs of the family in the Philippines. But it is not entirely the whole story…
Briza is handicapped. He has problems with his hands and feet, making it totally hard to work especially in a foreign country. He is wondering why he was like that when his other siblings are completely normal.
Despite having deformed feet and hands and the bullying he got from the people around him, he was able to finish high school and started to work as mechanic.
He is now working to support his family and also wanted to get married when the right time comes. He can also do things like normal people does and people around him treats him like a normal person despite his disabilities.
Briza is thanking his parents for not abandoning him and he is willing to help his family as much as possible.
The person’s capabilities should not be judged according to their disabilities and if you have goals in life, you can definitely achieve it as long as you have hard work and perseverance, according to Briza.
He is planning to marry the love of his life this coming 2017 and wants to have one child.
