Philippines – Suspect for killing of an overseas Filipino worker in a motel in Daet, Camarines Norte is surrendered to the police on Saturday
A 48-year-old Cesar Sullivan Jr., he just defended himself from the attempted stabbing of the victim Sarah Mae Cabatingan, 32-year-old.
“Ayun sa suspek, hindi raw matanggap ng biktima nang aminin ni Sullivan na may asawa’t anim na anak na siya. Sinubukan daw siyang saksakin ng biktima kaya nanlaban ang suspek at inagaw ang panaksak ng babae. Paulit-ulit niyang nasaksak si Cabatingan na ikinasawi ng biktima.”
Based on the investigation, the two met through Facebook. From Davao del Sur Cabatingan is an OFW working in Saudi Arabia. Cesar Sullivan used a different name online, and pretend to be and army officer. Eventually they fell in love ang Sullivan proposed to Cabatingan to get married soon.
According to ABS-CBN Last Friday, They checked in to the motel. Kuwento ng tauhan ng motel, nagpa-extend daw sa kuwarto ang lalaki matapos ang dalawang oras. Kinabukasan, kinatok na raw nila ang kuwarto ng dalawa. Nang walang sumagot, pinasok na nila ito.
Una raw nilang napansin na nawawala ang kumot sa kama kaya hinanap daw muna iyon. Nagulat na lang sila nang makita sa ilalim ng kama ang bangkay ng biktima na binalot ng kumot.
Sullivan apologies to Cabatingan family’s and to her daughter that she raises alone.
Sinampahan na ng reklamong pagpatay si Sullivan na guwardiya ng isang pulitiko sa probinsiya.
Lesson learned : Please be cautious on people specially those you meet only in social media.
