Singapore opens its doors to Filipino overseas workers with thousands of job vacancies to fill-in. The country needs competent workers in the aviation industry, healthcare management, welders, and pipefitters.
Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Antonio Morales claimed that about 6,000 job positions are available for aircraft and automotive mechanics alone.
More competent nurses and caregivers are also needed to compensate the high demand for healthcare providers considering Singapore’s aging population.
Singapore welcomes experienced welders and pipefitters in the oil and gas sector due to oil crisis as well.
Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) reminds interested applicants to go to their office or to accredited recruitment agencies to ensure that applications are properly handled and processed prior to their employment in Singapore.
Please visit www.poea.gov.ph for more detailed information.
With more job positions being offered by various countries eyeing Filipino overseas workers, more Filipinos will be given the chance to try one’s luck in a foreign land with the goal of providing a better future for the family.
Good luck, “mga kabayan”!
