An OFW working in Oman seeks for help as she was being charged by the employer for robbing from the store where she is currently employed. The Pinay, however, denied the accusation stating that it wasn’t really her but her co-workers.
Overseas worker Hazel Marcelino has been put into jail for two weeks already after her employer accused her and two other Pinay co-workers of stealing from a clothing store where Marcelino was allegedly a conspirator.
According to Hazel’s mother, Marlyn Marcelino, her daughter was about to resign from work as a sales and marketing agent before the incident happened. Unfortunately, Hazel’s co-workers had escaped and she was the only one left and was put behind bars.
Hazel’s family is now seeking help from government agencies to prove Hazel’s innocence and be set free from jail.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is now working on ways to help the OFW for the immediate settlement of her case and for justice to be served the soonest possible time.
