The arrested managing director of PEYA Travel Agency, Rhea Donna Bayona Boyce or better known as “Yanyan” to the Filipino community in Hong Kong was taken to the PEYA Office in World-Wide Building in Central where the police confiscated relevant documents for the case on Christmas Day.
Having finished the raid, the police whisked her through the crowd of local media reporters outside the office onto a waiting police car in Connaught Road, Central.

Since mid-December, the police received reports of a number of foreign women reporting that they purchased air tickets at a travel company in Des Voeux Road Central and later discovered that the tickets lapsed and were suspected of being deceived. Police initially estimated as many as 645 victims and involved about HK$ 2 million.
In addition, the Police reported on receipt of a report by a 67-year-old local man on December 21 that his company had complied with the travel company on behalf of the airline and had not received the flight ticket fee since May this year. A total of about three million Hong Kong dollars.
District Crime Police District Crime Division took over the investigation. A 38-year-old foreign female who is the owner of the travel company was arrested at about 12 noon on December 25 at a unit at Wan Chai Road, Wan Chai, commiting fraud.
The arrested woman was detained for investigation. As the operation is still under way, the police has not ruled out the arrest of more people.via HongKongPinoyTV
