A fast-food legend in the Philippines, Jollibee Food Corporation is planning to open 100 stores in Canada within the next 5 years.
With the opening of its first branch in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in April 1 of this year, the store earned humongous support from Jollibee lovers, both Filipinos, and Canadian citizens.
In fact, it’s been months since its opening but many people are still lined up outside the store, waiting to taste Jollibee’s pride, Filipino recipes including palabok, spaghetti in sweet sauce, crispy chicken, burgers and peach-mango pies.

In an interview of City News with Ernesto Tanmantiong, the CEO of Jollibee Foods Corporation claimed they are eyeing on opening 100 more stores in Canada in the coming 5 years as part of their expansion plan in North America and at the same time, to cater to more Filipinos based in the country and many citizens enjoying its food.
Jollibee opened the business in the Canadian market in 2016 with its 2 branches in Winnipeg and a store in Scarborough for the previous 3 years.
Further, the company aggressively plans to expand in Ontario and hopefully exploring in Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver.
Across Canada, the fast-food chain is set to captivate the hearts of many consumers with its delicious, appetizing, tasty and palatable Filipino food.
