A Filipina was allegedly r@ped by an airport security staff just minutes after her plane landed in Kuwait.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) assured the public that they are already working with the Kuwaiti authorities in locating the police officer who was said to be responsible for physically taking advantage of a Filipina worker who just landed in Kuwait.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait, is closely coordinating with Kuwaiti authorities for the speedy arrest of the suspect in the rape case involving a Filipina household service worker in Kuwait,” says DFA in a statement.
The identity of the suspect was already identified. He is 22-year-old Fayed Naser Hamad Alajmy. The Embassy Charge d’AffairesMohdNoordinLomondot said that it was Alajmy that assisted the Filipino at the airport for the finger scanning registration on her arrival last June 4.
According to reports, Alajmy took the Filipina without her permission and also ass@ulted her. A warrant of arrest is already issued for the arrest of the suspect.
Meanwhile, the employer of the OFW is cooperating with the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait to give justice to the Filipina.
“The Philippine Government will exert all efforts to ensure that justice is served,” says DFA.
The case of this Filipina is considered the first one as she was @bducted as soon as she landed in Kuwait. Additionally, it all happened at the international airport but soon after, she was taken to a remote place where the suspect performed his dark plans.
After that, she returned the Filipina to the airport as if nothing happened.
According to Business Mirror, the victim prefers to keep the incident from her family to save them from worrying about her safety in Kuwait. It’s really heartbreaking to know that she is willing to keep it to herself, this invisible scar which will last for a lifetime to save her family from worries and concern.
Justice must prevail.
