As soon as this Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) from Saudi Arabia went home, Bukidnon police arrested her over several charges filed against her name.
Crisilyn Batican, 39, works as a nursing aid in Saudi Arabia. However, before she left the Philippines, she committed several crimes including illegal recruitment, online liber, libel, and estafa.
Batican went home to her province in Bukidnon over the passing of her relative. Later did she know, the police tracked that she will be returning that day and Bukidnon police are determined to hunt her down. As soon as she steps foot in their home in New Compostela Valley, Damulog town, authorities were there are presented four warrants of arrests as she was facing several complaints before leaving the country.
Sgt. Alan Coludo, one of the members of the tracking team, said that they’ve known that Batican will be arriving home over the passing of a relative.
“We waited for her,” says Sgt. Coludo.
Batican was taken to the Damulog Municipal Police after her arrest.
Two of the warrants came from Quezon City Branch Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 80 issued by Judge Charito Gonzales for the illegal recruitment case which was filed against her.
A bail of P18,000 per counts of estafa was granted to Batican while P48,000 for each count of online libel and P20,000 for libel.
However, the court did not recommend bail for her illegal recruitment case.
