In the first autopsy which was conducted on the remains of Jeanelyn Villavende in Kuwait, it was found out that the cause of her passing is heart respiration failure due to shock and multiple injuries. The primary suspect over the demise of the OFW is her own employer who is now in the custody of the police.
However, in the autopsy which was conducted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), they were shocked to know something about the remains of Villavende.

According to the partial results by Dr. Ricardo Rodaje, Head Medico-Legal of NBI, it was revealed that some of the internal organs of Villavende is missing.
“The victim sustained several or multiple injuries in the body, in the front and at the back. Then, some organs, vital organs are missing. Especially the brain and the heart. So, yung naiwan lang na organs are the liver, the spleen, kidney, and lungs. At the back of the victim, there are a lot of infected wounds,” says Dr. Rodaje.
The NBI is also considering the possibility that the Filipina was taken advantaged physically by her employer.
“I got some samples, tissue samples for the histopathological examination, toxicological examination and vocal swabbing and anal swabbing for possible sodomy and general swabbing,” Dr. Rodaje added.
In the next days, it is expected that the NBI will release the final results over the cause of Villavende’s passing.
Yesterday, the remains of the OFW was brought back to her hometown in South Cotabato.
