A video of an Overseas Filipino Worker in New York touched the hearts of netizens as she shares an inspiring message despite having contacted the COVID-19 disease.

In the video, OFW Docas Maligaya can be seen as having breathing difficulty despite the oxygen machine already attached to her.

The OFW confirmed that she is a COVID-19 positive. But just like any other people suffering from this disease, Docas refuses to give in and lose hope. The OFW believes that she can still return to the Philippines and be with her family and loved ones.

According to OFW, Asian patients are treated differently in New York. But still, Docas is determined to fight for her life despite being surrounded by other patients struggling from the disease.

Docas also reminded the public not to take this disease lightly. Those who are smoking should also quit as soon as possible as they are said to be more prone to contracting the virus.

The OFW said that she will be taken to the ICU any minute and possibly get intubated. She also has a very high fever.

But her courage and determination are one-of-a-kinds. She keeps on saying that she will never give up and will keep fighting for the hope of returning to her family in the Philippines.
