Finally, the budget-airline is back!
Travelers from the Philippines going to Dubai can finally travel on board a Cebu Pacific flight. Flights from the Philippines to the United Arab Emirates are scheduled every Sunday. On Mondays, flights from Dubai International Airport going to Manila are scheduled.
The first Cebu Pacific Flight going to Dubai International Airport left Manila last Sunday, July 12. Meanwhile, the first outbound flight from Dubai to Manila left on Monday, July 13.
However, certain requirements need to be obtained before arriving in Dubai. Travelers without travel insurance will be denied boarding or they have to sign a waiver that they agree to pay the treatment for hospitalization in UAE in case they contract COVID-19 while abroad.
Additionally, a COVID-19 DXB app must be obtained by the passenger before flying to Dubai. They must register beforehand.
While at the Dubai International Airport, those arriving travelers who cannot present a negative certificate of testing for COVID-19 should undergo a Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test which is free from charge.
It is also important to check your flights before you travel as there can be changes in the flight schedules there are also flights that are re-routed to Cebu to avoid congestion the capital.
