Another Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) decided to return to the Philippines amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. But instead of discrimination, she is full of praises to the current government for considering the needs of returning OFWs.
In a Facebook post, the OFW shared how happy she was with the treatment she received when she arrived in NAIA. She also advised other OFWs not to worry when returning to the Philippines because everything is managed properly.
According to the OFW, when she arrived at the airport, she was greeted with warm smiles from OWWA staff and was offered food to eat.

“Sobrang Bayanihan talaga tayo! Pagbaba palang natin sa airport habang naghihintay nang luggage natin may OWWA na sasalubong nang pagkain sayo. Sobrang care na care ang OWWA hanggang makasakay ka nang bus papuntang hotel andyan padin sila,” says the OFW who had a happy experience with OWWA.
They were also given hygiene kits containing shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, conditioner, and other things like a towel and a WIFI connection. All expenses are also free of charge until they reached their hometown, according to the OFW.
She thanked OWWA and the government for the very good service that is given to returning OFWs.
