A particular incident that Eden recalled was when her employer pulled her hair and also ganged her head into a wall after failing to comply with her order. This happened between October and November.
Another incident happened in February this year after her employer got annoyed upon seeing her 19-month old son who failed to finish the congee. It is said that Mak, the employer of Eden, put detergent into the food and forced Eden to consume it.
“I was so afraid of her (Mak) that I was forced to eat the congee with detergent,” Eden confessed.
The series of abuse continued until Eden got the chance to escape after her employer’s family went outside their house.
The male employer of Eden who works as a physiotherapist said that her wife is suffering from post-partum depression.
