On November 14, a Filipino domestic worker was reportedly got into an accident at the Des Voeux Road Central.
The man was immediately taken to the Queen Mary Hospital after acquiring several abrasions on his nose, mouth, and some of his teeth loosened. Other than those injuries, he was not able to obtain a major one.
The police received a report at around 5:20 pm, just about seven minutes after attending to another drunk Filipina who fell into the pavement, head first near Exchange Square. Later on, the Filipina claimed that she only got dizzy and fell down because she was anemic.
Meanwhile, according to the HK police, the Filipino man run into the busy street and was hit by an approaching bus at the Chiu Lung Street, just near the World-Wide House.
“The person suddenly ran onto the street and was hit by a bus,” said the spokesperson. “He smelled of alcohol and was injured, but was in a conscious state.”
Although the male bus driver was questioned right at the scene, there were no reports of his arrest.
Unconfirmed reports claimed that the Filipina man was drinking with friends near the area.
