As they say, you can never escape death. It’s just a matter of time. But to this Filipina, she suffered a tragic death after getting crushed by a speeding train in Edmonton, Canada.
According to reports, the 34-year-old Filipina was about to go to work when she got hit by the rushing train as she was about to cross the railway tracks located at Maple Road near 8th street.
Although Kristina Prado was immediately taken to the hospital, she passed away the following day due to the severity of her injuries.
The family of Prado was devastated upon hearing the news of her passing. A catholic mass was done in memory of the deceased OFW.
Kristina is a registered nurse who is a native of Lipa City, Batangas. In 2017, she got a permit to study in Canada. She was able to complete her childhood development program at NorQuest College and eventually obtained her permanent residency last March. She lived in Maple Crest neighborhood, Edmonton together with her brother and his family.
