Every time you cross a street, even if you are in a hurry, you are taught since little to look from right to left or vice versa. You have to be careful because some drivers might not notice you and get you into an accident. Some are lucky enough to escape from these forms of accidents while others succumb to the injury they acquired.
But it seems like these two Filipinos in Hong Kong weren’t so lucky as they were struck by a bus and one of them is currently in critical condition.
A Filipina in Hong Kong was injured following a bus accident that occurred on December 5. The traffic accident which took part in Des Voeux Road, Central caused a Filipina domestic worker to fall into a critical condition.
According to reports, two Filipinos were hit by a bus that was traveling at westbound road fronting a building famously known to the Filipino community in Hong Kong, the Worldwide House.
It is said that the two Filipinos, ages 33 and 54, were crossing the street when the bus struck them. After that, the male companion remained conscious but the female lost consciousness. The paramedic arrived at the scene and the two were sent to the Queen Mary Hospital to receive medical treatment.
Unfortunately, the woman is currently in critical condition, the Philippine Consulate confirmed.
No arrest was reported as of the moment.
