In the Philippines, you need to land a corporate job to acquire a salary range of P25,000 to P100,000. However, this isn’t the case in Canada.
OFW Albert Frederich Logo is receiving a monthly salary of P25,000 to P100,000 for being a fruit picker in Canada.
In a video, Logo shared the accommodation that he is staying in which is two rooms that can house six people.
According to Logo, he previously worked in Taiwan but decided to transfer to Canada in hopes of obtaining a better life.
“At alam niyo, mukhang hindi ako nagkamali,” says Lago who has been in Canada for a year.
In a video, Lago showed the type of work that he does. This serves as the bread and butter for his family in the Philippines. Lago can be seen picking cucumber and strawberries in the video.
This isn’t the first time that a Filipino works as a fruit picker and earns a decent amount of money. This goes to show that as long as you work hard, nothing is impossible and you can get your goals and aspirations in life.
