A domestic helper in Hong Kong was found lifeless inside her room at her employer’s house.
The Hong Kong police received a report at around 8pm regarding a domestic worker who was found unconscious by her employer.
According to the employer, the last time that she saw the helper alive was when she went out around 7 pm of May 7. However, she didn’t notice that the helper returned home because it was already late at night.
The next day, the employer didn’t see her helper again and thought that she was only out because it was her day off. But at night, the employer didn’t see the helper again. This time, the employer decided to check the room of her helper and found that she was unconscious.
Immediately, the employer called the police and they arrived at the scene together with an ambulance. Upon inspection of the medical team, it was confirmed that the 48-year-old worker is dead at the scene.
The full name of the worker was not confirmed but her last name is Miano. The preliminary investigation of the police states that the worker died of natural causes. However, an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of her death.
Because of privacy purposes, the full name and nationality of the domestic worker were hidden by the police.
