Instead of hatred, an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) previously working as a domestic worker felt pity for the employer who maltreated her after the latter was sentenced to four months imprisonment.
Renalyn Guiang saw her employer and pitied her despite being maltreated for 21 months.
“Nangayayat siya,” says Guiang.
Guiang was treated harshly by her employer. She constantly receives slaps and shouts from her ex-employer.
Fortunately, some of her relatives of Guiang were in HK. They took her to the hospital and the police were called. The Mission for Migrant Workers also offered help to the distressed OFW.
