An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) is pleading for help to go back to the Philippines because he had undergone numerous operations and wants to be with his family in this tough time.
The OFW was identified as Ariel Lamban, currently at Dammam, Saudi Arabia. According to the OFW, he was diagnosed with gallstones, a condition that requires surgery.
Last August 30, Ariel underwent an operation to remove the gallstones in his gall bladder. He notified his wife in the Philippines about his situation.
OWWA Administrator Arnell Ignacio promised to help in the repatriation of the OFW as soon as possible. He will be coordinating with the Labor Attaché and welfare officers in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Melania Lamban, the wife of Ariel was teary-eyed as she asked for help from Raffy Tulfo in Action. Fortunately, they were able to coordinate with the appropriate government body for the immediate repatriation of the OFW.
