Every Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) dreams to provide financial stability to their families in the Philippines. They work so hard to give them a brighter future. If there are horror stories about Filipinos working abroad, there are also success stories worth pondering.
Christina Cogonon Patorio went to Kuwait to work as a domestic worker for the welfare of her two children. She is a single mom. Patorio’s eldest child is already married while the youngest is in college.
After working for many years in Kuwait, she was proud of the house she invested in. Although it’s not as grand compared to the houses of other OFWs, she was really happy with what she achieved.
2 kwarto, may sala, dining area, kitchen, at 1 bathroom.
But that’s not all. The OFW also managed to invest in a 1-hectare land where corn is being grown.
