Two Filipino women and their friend, a Pakistani guy, were hospitalized after being hurt in a fistfight with some local men.
According to Hong Kong police, two woman and a guy were drinking in a bar on 46-48 Wyndham Street around 4 a.m. on May 6.
The ruckus began as the group was preparing to leave, and five local individuals made impolite hand gestures to them. The local males were then challenged by two women and a man. The five men replied by throwing punches and attacking the three with glass bottles before fleeing the area.
When police got on the scene, it was discovered that two of the three victims were Filipino ladies, both born in 2001 and carrying HK ID, and their companion was a 21-year-old Pakistani guy. They all had bruises and injuries to their cheeks and foreheads and were sent to Queen Mary Hospital for treatment.
The case is being investigated by the Central District Criminal Investigation Team as an assault inflicting actual bodily harm. The police are currently looking for five individuals, two of whom stand at about 1.7 meters tall.
